Gamer Centric TV from Sony Pictures?

Sony Promises Exclusive Gamer Content from Sony Pictures

Michael Lynton, CEO of Sony Entertainment and Chairman & CEO of Sony Pictures, came onstage during Sony’s E3 press conference to introduce some of the “gamer curated” entertainment features.  Lynton stressed that Sony plans on developing new exclusive content with gamers in mind…uh-huh.

But did you see the PS4 directly before Lynton came on stage?  It’s a parallelogram!

Nothing specific was announced.  Lynton touched on Crackle (possible updates for PS4?!?) and mentioned their “wide variety” of media.  We’ll see if Sony Pictures lives up to its promise…

Ghosts Are Real, Apparently.

At Microsoft’s announcement of the Xbox One today, Activision was the only other developer, besides EA, to showcase its next-gen Call of Duty; Ghost along with its new engine.

This new world looks amazing, and it’ll be turned up more so with Stephen Gaghan, of “Traffic” and “Syriana” fame, who will scribe this new emotional story.

More details will be released at E3. It’ll release on November 5 2013, apparently for (almost) every platform known to man. Look for it on Xbox One, 360, PlayStation 4, PS3, and PC. There will be exclusive content for the Xbox One and DLC will remain “timed exclusive” to the Xbox and Xbox LIVE.
