Official Call of Duty: Ghost Trailer

Ghosts Are Real, Apparently.

YouTube Preview Image

At Microsoft’s announcement of the Xbox One today, Activision was the only other developer, besides EA, to showcase its next-gen Call of Duty; Ghost along with its new engine.

This new world looks amazing, and it’ll be turned up more so with Stephen Gaghan, of “Traffic” and “Syriana” fame, who will scribe this new emotional story.

More details will be released at E3. It’ll release on November 5 2013, apparently for (almost) every platform known to man. Look for it on Xbox One, 360, PlayStation 4, PS3, and PC. There will be exclusive content for the Xbox One and DLC will remain “timed exclusive” to the Xbox and Xbox LIVE.

Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain at GDC 2013

Quite the surprise earlier today at the Game Developers Conference with Metal Gear Solid V Trailer.

We only expected Konami’s panel to be a bunch of fluff showcasing their Fox engine. Instead we got Kojima coming out on stage with his head wrapped up in bandages, not to display his fascination for bondage but a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain.

The Metal Gear Solid trailer is just all kinds of beautiful, an amazing pantomime trip of emotion, drama and awe. Beginning with whom appears to be snake waking from a near decade long coma. Then scenes shift from of him taking out enemies aboard a helicopter, fleeing for his life from a man of fire, riding a mystical horse and much more.

It’s been confirmed that versions of Metal Gear solid will be released for both the Xbox 360 and PS3, nothing about nextgen, but the release date has yet to be said. Until then give the video a go and comment below, with your theories of whats to come this E3.

Trailer for Halo 4: Vidoc is amazing!

Vidoc is a word from heaven first brought down by the angels at Bungie Studios. For Halo fans it’s a glimpse into the future, bringing knowledge that teased their souls until release.  It’s also a tantalizing glimpse into the Halo 4 world.

This new trailer is ten-odd minutes of Halo 4 goodness. But to the devoted, be wary, if you comb through it you may spot and hear some spoilers in its glorious cinematic beauty. You’ve been warned.

Halo 4 Spartan Ops Wows at E3 2012

E3 2012 Offers Up Halo 4 Deets

Come election-day, the Master Chief , like a boss, will come to your house and sit you down. Then he’ll get all comfy, pop Halo 4 in your disc tray, living there longer then say Black Ops 2.

Halo 4 will include two new takes on old classics: Slayer and Firefight will become War Games and Spartan Ops, respectively.  The latter will tell the story, episodically, of the UNSC Infinity, its crew and a new team of Spartans,  Majestic Squad. Infinity will also serve as the hub for War Games, offering character progression and customization to suit your play style. Intriguingly, it will also offer  a scoring system which separates both individual and team performance, ensuring that appropriate rep is given where it’s due. Hit the jump to see the gameplay videos of both game types.

E3 2012: Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs may be the best new game to cross my eyes so far, and it’s just day one! Sure Beyond looks great and is rather intriguing-but this just takes the cake.

Forget Grand Theft Auto, Ubisoft gives us a new take on the “open world/sandbox” genre. We are given a world where literally everything is connected. Anything can be manipulated from your fingers and phone, in game. Visually its striking on so many levels that its hard to believe that this is a current gen game (and maybe it isn’t?) Gameplay-wise it takes cues from their own titles, like Assassins Creed and Splinter Cell. It all plays out so well that it could be played off as a Chris Nolan thriller.

For now, we don’t know much about it, besides what we saw at the conference and on their teaser site. This has my vote for best in show so far.

What we got are two videos.  One features single player footage from today’s Xbox Conference, whilst the other demonstrates a mix of single and multiplayer, courtesy of Viso Games YouTube page. Find the second one after the break!
