Review: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning-Most Overlooked Game of the Year?

Kingdoms of Amalur is So Good I’m Crying Because There’ll be no Sequel

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was developed by Big Huge Games, a subsidiary of 38 studios. It was published by Electronic Arts and released February 7th 2012 with little fanfare. Kingdoms of Amalur is a single-player action RPG for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The team who worked on this game was lead by executive designer Ken Rolston, formerly the lead designer of Oblivion and Morrowind. The story and Lore of Amalur was written by R. A. Salvatore, best known for The DemonWars Saga, and his Forgotten Realms novels. He’s the author who created the popular character Drizzt Do’Urden, and now fantastic Amalur universe and lore. The incredible artwork was designed by Todd McFarlanecreator of famed comic character Spawn. Grant Kirkhope, a well-known video game music composer, crafted the game’s stirring musical score.

I was in the store and saw this game beside Skyrim.  Both were the same price.  I looked at who created the games and decided to go with Reckoning.  I am a fan of Salvatore’s stories and of Todd McFarlane;s Artwork.  I have not looked back since.  I am enjoying every minute playing this game.  I have and will keep recommending  this game to all to play.  It is worth your time.
